As preparations for the upcoming UNESCO Amazon Water Resilience Challenge continue, a team from The Water Agency visited Ecuador from 31 March until 4 April to rally support from partners to contribute their experience and knowledge to the program.
A broad range of national and local government agencies, universities, youth associations, and NGO’s were visited to present and discuss the program, resulting in commitments from more than 15 experts to contribute as trainers and/or mentors during the program!
Meeting with Local Organizations
Thanks to these important contributions, participants will gain firsthand insights into the challenges confronted by the Podocarpus Biosphere Reserve and provide the necessary resources, mentorship, knowledge, skills and field experience to successfully develop and implement their ideas and solutions.
